After School Day Care

When children are in the Spark After school daycare, the teacher’s role is to:

• Encourage the child to share ideas and experiences with other children as well as the teacher.
• Engage children in Art & Craft, Dance fun, logical games, Yoga, Sand play, Splash Pool, home completion if instructed by the parents
• Support children’s learning by introducing new ideas and materials.
• Model pro-social behavior.
• Implement positive techniques to guide the behavior of children.
• Support children’s problem-solving efforts.
• Observe children’s skills, development, and interest.

For older children who go to a Big School, Spark offers an After School program designed to provide the child with a fun & safe environment where he or she can continue to discover learn & develop close friendships.

Activities include indoor play, nutritious & tasty snacks & the option to sleep. Our programs also offer parents the convenience of pick-up from a TLC opposite to spark Centre & backup day-care for school holidays.
